The Women & Children’s Shelter is a registered non-profit charity governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and staffed by trained professionals. All services are free of charge and confidential.

Partial funding for this 21 bed facility comes from the Ministry of Community & Social Services, with the balance generated through fundraising events and private donations.

Our shelter offers comfort, security, support and an opportunity for change. We provide counselling, compassion and encouragement as women attempt to make life altering decisions for themselves and their children.
